What: The Public Media Camp South Florida will bring together community technology activists, visual artists, musicians, writers, citizen journalists and other members of the public seeking to utilize public media technologies in tangible ways, bringing them together with WLRN in an engaging, collaborative, and open-ended environment.

We'll be brainstorming - or whatever the new word is for that - about the use of 'social media' by public and community broadcasters, traditional journalism and journalists, educators and others who play a vital role in the communications networks of our community.

Where: WLRN'S Roger Kobzina Performance Studio, 172 NE 15 St., Miami

When: Saturday and Sunday, August 21st and 22nd, 10am - 5pm.

Who: Andy Carvin, National Public Radio, Dan Grech, American Public Media / WLRN-Miami Herald News, WLRN staff, and people like you who are passionate about public broadcasting and who have a personal interest in volunteering time and effort to further its mission.
